I just love the way she shines as she walks down the isle,

no one would've noticed she's passed thousands of miles,

no wrinkle in her eye she just blaze like a candle in the sky,

wallahi she is perfect, especially at sunset, she owns my eyes,

I especially love how she wakes up and make me smile,

I hope I can see her forever but my destiny is nigh,

will I see her another day? only He knows if I'll live, or die.

Weekenders' @ ManMun's Walimah

Weekenders congratulate one of our Kenders, Munira Hamzah and her handsome husband, Salman, who tied knot last weekend. Munira has been an active kender of Weekenders and she designed our logo (the green tulip, which is actually letter 'W').

We hope after your marriage, you will not stop supporting us and more importantly invite your husband to our events in the future, and let's hope our boys and girls from our own blood nanti will continue this legacy and keep on living the spirit that we live today.

So, here's to Man and Mun. Barakallahulakuma wabaraka 'alaikuma wajama'a bainakuma fil khayr. May mawaddah, rahmah, sakinah filled your blissful marriage and may it last until jannatul firdaus. Amin.

Weekenders' Raya Open Haus

Salam Eidul Fitr to all! Maaf zahir and batin. :)

Raya is a time for us to be happy and cherish the moment and what better way to do it than to gather and spend time together-gether? Hehe.

So, Weekenders would like to invite all of you to our 1st open house on 8 September 2012 (Saturday) in Ukay Perdana.

InshaAllah with the house owner's permission, we'll do rewang pagi tu, we'll cook ketupat or nasik impit, burn some satays, buat some bihun, kuah kacang, in the morning, (of course you can come and help too if you want)

Then we'll open the house during lunch time to feed all those growling tummies, we'll pray Zuhr together there, and after that, there'll be a tazkirah, then we'll just makan and chit chat, oh, there'll be board games = Risk, UNO, Monopoly, congkak (siapa ada congkak? bawak la ^^), Saidina, and etc etc.

After that, inshaAllah we'll do some discussions in preparation for AGM next months. and inshaAllah we'll open the house until after isya' prayer, as there'll be lot of people yang tak dapat nak attend siang because of all the kenduris kan.

So come along and join the fun. Let's hope we can celebrate Raya with His Blessings.

(oh, and as many will come and go, so I want to suggest hourly group photo (from the same spot) so that we can see how the crowd changes! wuhuuu.)
